In terms of securing information on custom content pages (refer to Section 2.1.3), the most important thing to understand is whether the page is viewable by your child organizations and editable by anyone else (viewing and editing permissions are reviewed in the previous section).

The Custom Content Page form under Admin > Organizational Settings > Custom Content > New Custom Content contains two important controls:

1. “Show this page to child organizations” – selecting this option allows child organizations to view the custom content page (and download any linked files or images).

2. “Allow child organizations to override this page” – selecting this option allows any child user with permissions to edit custom content to override the page and edit it (this essentially copies the page to their custom content grid).
