Assigned Organization

User accounts must be created within their proper organization. Once a user account is created at an organization, that organization becomes the user’s “assigned” organization.

The assigned organization is the top-most organization visible on the user’s Organization Selector. Therefore, no user may access data above their assigned organization. However, the user may access data from child organizations. Accessibility to data across the user’s assigned organization is controlled by the assigned user group, which controls the menu, submenu, and function links viewed by the user.
