To begin adding questions to the checklist template, click on New Question to access the Checklist Question form. The fields will vary depending on the type of checklist form. The section name will be the same for all questions unless you want to group questions under different headings within the checklist template. Complete the form and click on Save Question to save the question and return to the Questions grid. Repeat this step to add more questions.
The checklist template will order questions based on their order in the Questions grid. To change the order in which questions are listed on the Questions grid, click on Reorder and drag/drop a row with its question to the desired location. If you have different sections in this template, ensure that questions are grouped by their correct section. Click on Save Order to save the new order of questions and deactivate the reorder function.
Click on Next to proceed to the Custom Fields grid. This is only used to add additional text fields to the checklist template either at the bottom of the header or the top of the footer. To add a customized text field, click on New Custom Field and complete the Custom Field form. Otherwise, click on Next to proceed to the Alerts grid.
To create an alert associated with the entire template or a specific question, click on New Alert to access the Checklist Alert form. Alert criteria can be selected based on any single answer for the entire template or on a per question basis. The message text sent to the assigned individual when the alert is tripped can be customized. Click on Save Alert to save the alert and return to the Alerts grid. Repeat this step to create additional alerts, if desired. Once all alerts have been completed, click on Finish to access the checklist template profile.
Once at the checklist template profile page, all related items associated with the template can be accessed and edited via the checklist template profile icon. New checklist templates are accessible under the Scheduling submenu. A checklist template must be scheduled in order to view the checklist form as an inspector would view it while completing answers.
