Custom Content Pages


Custom content pages are a simple way for managers to communicate information and share files or images with other users in the system. The custom content tool is located within the Admin main menu and consists of a rich text editor (Fig. 6). It takes about 15 minutes to learn how to design your own custom content page and requires no programming skills.

The Homepage submenu has at least four custom content pages including the Navy and Regional Bulletins. Each installation’s Organization’s Administrator has the freedom to create and place their own custom content pages as submenu or function links virtually anywhere within their own organization’s menu structure. Custom content pages can also be linked to each other.

Related pages should be managed together from within a parent page rather than cluttering the menus with multiple custom content pages. Only users with permissions to create/edit custom content pages will have access to the Edit icon. EMSWeb provides a selection to allow child organizations to view your custom content page, as well as an option to allow their Organization Administrators to make a copy and edit the custom content page for their own organization.
