Description
This form is used to Edit Finding / Observation Assignments. A Finding / Observation is assigned to a POC (typically a Media Manager) who is in charge of ensuring that the Finding / Observation is resolved.
Note: Findings/Observations can only be managed by and/or assigned to people that have an EMSWeb user account. Contact your Organization Administrator if a New User needs to be added to the system.
Definitions
- Finding Number: The Finding Number is the organization's number that can be used to track this Finding. This is defaulted to the EMSWeb generated Finding ID, which is used for internal database purposes.
- Media: Specific areas of the environmental field typically defined according to environmental programs such as air, water, tanks -- which are the subject of regulatory concern and activities.
- Assigned POC: Name of the User assigned to manage the resolution of the Finding / Observation
- Resolution Target Date: Date this Finding / Observation is targeted to have a completed resolution
- Comments: any other relevant information
- Risk: This field allows the User to select the Risk (none, low, medium, or high) of the Finding / Observation.
- None: This selection should be made when the User feels that the Finding / Observation poses no risk.
- Low: This selection should be made when the User feels that the Finding / Observation poses low risk.
- Medium: This selection should be made when the User feels that the Finding / Observation poses medium risk.
- High: This selection should be made when the User feels that the Finding / Observation poses high risk.
- Resolution Requirements: The Resolution Requirements determine how the Finding can eventually be closed out, and whether or not a POAM is required. There are three options; POAM required and Review by Lead Auditor, No POAM required and Review, and No POAM required and No Review.
