This form is used to Edit information about a Document that has already been uploaded into EMSWeb.

Definitions

  1. Document Name: Name of the Document
  2. Description: Description of the Document
  3. Owner: The person responsible for maintaining the document.
  4. Make this document publicly available: Placing a check in this box makes the document available to all parts of the Organization's menus via Custom Content pages and Help content.
  5. Document Category: Type of document that is being uploaded
  6. Media: Specific areas of the environmental field typically defined according to environmental programs such as air, water, tanks -- which are the subject of regulatory concern and activities.
  7. ISO 14001: The ISO 14000 is a family of internationally recognized standards for environmental management systems that is applicable to any business or organization, regardless of size, location or income. These standards are developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which has representation from committees all over the world. For Navy EMS Appropriate Facilities, the implementation and continued commitment to ISO 14001 in EMS is a requirement for EMS Conformance.
