Change the Dropdown Name of Custom Labels

For hazardous waste custom labels, a user may control the name of the waste labels in Reporting > Templates > Mail Merge. After creating a new label, a user may change the entire text of the labels shown below in Reporting > Settings > Manage Mappings.

This change will be reflected in the locations within HWMS that show the label dropdown, for example Waste Records grid (below).

To change the names of the dropdown options:

Navigate to Admin > Localization. You can now edit English and edit specifics of the organization. This is where the user may change the dropdown name of the custom labels.

The Org-specific localization settings will override the system level settings.

To change the label name in the dropdowns, go to the page called "English". Click on the active filtering header for the "Page Name" column and enter "Global". The grid will refresh with the results of the search and show Global Terms. In the below image are the Global Terms available to be changed. Select "Edit Mode" and the "Localized Text" column will turn green, indicating the fields that can be changed. Just enter the new test and click the Edit button again. Changes will be reflected on the Waste Record.
